Shot this a couple of weeks ago at a religious event to celebrate the birth of a newborn child.
In islamic traditions, a week or so after a child is born, the parents will organise an event where the baby's hair will be snipped by the elders in the family. Recitations of the holy book, the Qur'an will be read & blessings are sought for the child.
I couldn't help taking a pic of this boy cos he was the youngest one in the group reading verses from the Qur'an ... and he seems to be enjoying himself ... :)
