I went to Morocco, the Maghreb, in April last year (2007), for my honeymoon. Yeah, I know ... not many people, especially from Singapore, would wanna go there for their honeymoon. Most likely countries honeymooners, whether they are muslim or not, go to are Australia, Japan, USA, Europe, Turkey.
Why I chose Morocco??? Well, actually it was either Uzbekistan or Morocco. Morocco because it's some place not many from Singapore has been too. Also, it's on of the few countries that I wanna visit during my lifetime. Actually, most of the countries I wanna see are Islamic countries. If I can go to Iraq, I would. Let's wait till it's safe, ya ... :)
Going back to my roots, my heritage.
I'll share some more of Morocco soon ... Stay Tuned!
